We got on two boats across to the three islands of Nusa Penida. We decided to stay on Nusa Lembongan as this had the most hostels.
The whole island was so quiet and our hostel again was in the middle of nowhere. I wasn’t feeling well at all when we arrived here so it was a boring day of netflix in bed for me. I luckily managed to get out and meet the girls for sunset at Sunset Point.

Luckily this was right beside the top thing to do on this island which is Devils Tears. This pool of water gets sucked into the rock before it explodes back out with a boom which creates the ‘devils tears’ and in turn a beautiful rainbow. It was very surreal to sit and watch.

We had an entire hostel room to ourselves here for one night which was eerie but as usual we created our own entertainment. At this point I wasn’t sure how I’d ever sleep in a room alone again without feeling lonely.

The next day we rented scooters again and Yellow Bridge connects you to Nusa Ceningan. This is the smallest of the three islands but the one I actually found the most beautiful.

Firstly we went to Blue Lagoon. This was one of my favourite parts of the whole of Nusa Penida for views alone. The water was the lightest shade of blue, I could of sat and stared at it all day. Instead I used it as a photo opportunity of course…

Then we drove a short while further to Secret Beach. I can tell you it wasn’t much of a secret as it was attached to a hotel but was completely quiet like the rest of the islands.

From there we went back to the hostel to get changed. On the way back I went to Dream Beach back on Lembongan island. This most definitely lived up to its name of being dreamy! However it was the most crowded place I’d been in Nusa.

We then spent the first half of sunset back at the Blue Lagoon – simply could not get enough of it!

Then we went to Mahana Point where I may have undertaken the most risky thing so far. This is a sunset spot but its also well known as a cliff jumping spot offering two different heights to jump from.
Obviously I got carried away at the beautiful sunset and went for the highest jump with the longest swim back round to the entrance. I very nearly ended up belly flopping it and then underestimated how big the waves were that kept dragging me back out to sea. I survived to tell the tale though.

So much to do so little time and with that we booked a boat across to the main island Nusa Penida for one night. We of course got scooters for what ended up being the longest and hardest ride in the whole of Bali. Operation see as much as possible in one day began..
We started off going to Angels Billabong and Broken Beach. Angels billabong was a beautiful rock formation with waves crashing against the side.

Broken beach was exactly as stated. It was an arched tunnel allows for the sea to fill into an unreachable pool and naturally formed beach.

We then went to find the most famous spot in the whole of Nusa Penida. This was Kelingking Beach – by far the most beautiful view of my entire trip.

With it being the most instagrammed and popular view it meant a lot of pushing and shoving right next to a cliff edge for photographs!

And of course another day another sunset and with that we went to Crystal Bay to finish off our day of touring.

Id recommend these 3 islands to anyone who wants to see some spectacular views!
This was the point in which I had to say bye to Annie, having travelled Cambodia and Bali together! Myself, Cree and Amelia were about to take on the final adventure of this part of my travelling.
