Although I don’t have much too much to say on this city. the pictures are definitely worth sharing.
I took my favourite sleeper bus so far through the mountains to get here. Someone definitely needs to start a petition for sleeper buses at home they’d be a god send hungover.

I decided to get a bike to explore as I didn’t want to waste too long here or pay for the organised full day trips and I used MapsMe to spend just two days just moving from one attraction to the next.
I stayed in a hostel called Mooka’s Home which was a lovely place with a nice social vibe.
Firstly I went to Datanla Alpine Rollercoaster. This was a strange experience getting your own self-controlled rollercoaster cart through the mountains stopping off at a waterfall on the way. It actually picked up a fair bit of speed and was so much fun!

I then visited Crazy House. This is a guesthouse with architecture reminiscent of tree trunks and nature with great city views from the top and is one of the most unique buildings in Vietnam.

I went to Maze Bar in the evening. This was the most crazy bar I think I’ve ever stepped foot in. It was a dark and full of strange interior decorations and basically just a giant maze set over a few floors in which you had to use different stairs to end up finding the rooftop bar.

In the hostel I met two people from Germany and decided to follow them on a day trip the following day round even more sights of Da Lat.
This started with a 45 minute motorbike ride to a coffee plantation where I tried some weasel poo coffee, thats right actual coffee made from weasel poo. It’s one of the most expensive and famous coffee’s in the world and I actually highly rated it along with the view.

It also had the most bizarre but fun rainbow platform filled with photo worthy objects, anyone who knows me knows how much I love a good staged picture.

I also visited a silk factory but was an hour too early for the tour so just walked around and left equally as clueless as to how its actually made.

Finally i visited the Elephant Waterfall and the statute that was beside it.

The elephant waterfalls took a bit of climbing too but we eventually worked out how to actually go behind the waterfall too which was a fun experience even if we did all leave wet and muddy.

Da Lat i can only really describe as two days rushing to view everything it had to offer and I wouldn’t really change that as the city itself wasn’t that great.
