I’ll start by saying even last time I visited Phi Phi I was blown away by the exceptional views. The water is always a mixture of bright blue and green contrasting colours giving the impression you really are in paradise.
I stumbled upon a hotel called Phi Phi Don Chukit Resort. I paid £9 a night and ended up extending my stay by one night due to the amazing infinity pool and views from my balcony. I could of easily spent a week if not more at this resort.

The beachfront restaurants all host incredible views. I’d probably say the food was some of the cheapest and best I’ve had in Thailand too.

The night life in Phi Phi is always highly rated. However with travelling in low season it was a lot quieter than when I came in December. Nevertheless you cant really go wrong paying £4 for a bucket filled with vodka and mixer, until the next day when I realised I’m 25 and can no longer hack hangovers and spent the day feeling sorry for myself.
I found a live music bar called Kong Siam Live Music. This makes such a refreshing change to the usual house music / trance played all over Thailand which quite frankly just gives me a headache.

The live music bar had different Thai singers each night and I couldn’t help but go back. With a mixture of travellers inside it was hard not to get involved singing cheesy Westlife songs.
I have to say Phi Phi and Koh Tao were by far my favourite islands during this trip to Thailand.
Time for a one night stay beside Phuket airport and a flight to Vietnam to start a brand new adventure!
